In about a month, I'll be putting my 135is in storage and making my Grand Cherokee—this one's a special edition G AND CHE OKEE, check the door badge—my daily driver. So I'm taking it in for service to fix those little things that up til now hadn't been urgent because hey it was summer and this is my winter beater.
Things that will be done for sure before winter include:
Oil change
Automatic transmission fluid change
New weather stripping on doors
Get front windshield washer sprayers to start spraying again
Replace rear windshield wiper arm (the hook on the end of the one on there is broken and keeps losing hold of blades) and blade
Replace oil pressure sender unit that keeps causing low oil pressure warnings even though oil pressure is actually fine
I also have brighter headlight and foglight bulbs that I bought last winter but never put on. The headlight housings are pretty well scuffed up, even with my attempt at using a restoration kit on them once. I may pop for new housings to put the bulbs in.
Otherwise, the seat heaters don't actually work, which would be nice to have, and there's a bit of a driveline vibration, the likely fix of which is to get a new driveshaft (or two) with a different balance weight on it, but these aren't as big of priorities.
I also have to go back through my old service receipts and make sure to scan them all. Part of my plan is when I do get around to selling the thing, I'll have a nice folder of scanned receipts to share with potential buyers.

Che Okee? Is that some kind of Floridian communist? I already know what a Gand is , at least.

Overall, that's a pretty sharp looking GC. I like the color. Not bad at all, and it seems like it doesn't need too much.

Thanks. It's mostly in decent shape. I bought it just under a year ago and DD'ed it last winter. I've been slowly fixing the stuff that was wrong when I bought it, but a few other things have cropped up in the past year that I want to take care of while it's not my primary vehicle.

My family has one just like it, only difference is that ours is Tan. Love the way it rides in the winter, and my father DD's it all year.

I had one of these. Loved it. It was a V8 (not people's fave) but it definitely worked for me! I could move pretty quick! *Side note: I had all for wheels drifting from a stop in the dry with this one.
Anyway, mine had the same weird oil pressure sensor issue. Stupid flawed design. And the heated seats did the same thing and I also had the blower gate that manages a temperature for each side break and was only sending ice cold air to the passenger...Needless to say, not peoples fave for the winter in the passenger seat.
